One after another, Xiaomi continuously slashing the price of its smartphones. After the Mi A2, the prices of Redmi Y2 and Redmi Note 5 Pro in India gets a massive cut.

Xiaomi India MD Manu Kumar Jain announced the news. The 3GB RAM + 32GB storage model of Redmi Y2 is now available at a starting price of Rs 8,999. The 4GB RAM + 64GB storage variant of the phone is available for Rs 10,999.

The 4GB RAM + 64GB storage variant of Redmi Note 5 Pro is now starting at a price of 12,999, while the 6GB RAM + 64GB storage model is available at Rs. 13,999. All variants will be available via Amazon India store, Mi online store and all offline partner stores across India.

Manu also announced that Xiaomi now the No. 1 smartphone brand in India for the 5th consecutive quarter. So all these price cuts are meant to celebrate the company’s success in India.

A couple of days back, Xiaomi also announced the price cut on its Mi A2 smartphone which now starts at Rs 13,999. The phone was launched in August in India for Rs 16,999 for the 4GB RAM model and Rs 19,999 for the 6GB RAM version.
