Realme is working on a new smartphone and as per the reports surfacing online the phone could be the Realme 3. Realme is the sub-brand from Oppo and has launched around 5 smartphones. The series includes the Realme 1, Realme 2, Realme 2 Pro, Realme U1, and Realme C1.
The next phone will be the successor to the Realme 2 and said to come with a 48-megapixel rear camera. We’ve recently seen the Honor View 20 and Redmi Note 7 smartphone equipped with a 48-megapixel camera. So, it’s going to be a good fight in the mid-range segment.
Realme CEO Madhav Seth said that the Realme 3 may be launched in this quarter. However, there is not much information about the price and feature of the smartphone. He also told that the company is working on a 48-megapixel camera.
As mentioned earlier, Xiaomi has already launched the Redmi Note 7 which has dual camera sensors at the rear with a primary 48-megapixel sensor and 5-megapixel secondary sensor.
It’s worth mentioning that this is the first smartphone under the independent Redmi brand because the company recently announced to split Mi and Redmi brand to focus on high-end and budget phones separately.
Now let’s wait and see what Realme has to offer in the coming days.
