In the time when we are waiting for Samsung’s Galaxy M series launch and also the Galaxy Unpacked event in February, a new smartphone has appeared online. The phone with model number SM-A305F is listed on the benchmarking website Geekbench.
Speculation is being made that the new phone could be launched as the Galaxy A30. Seeing the specifications, the Galaxy A30 looks to be a budget device running Android 9 Pie. This is not the first phone under the Galaxy A series. Samsung has previously launched the Galaxy A8 (2018), A8+ and Galaxy A8s.
As per the Geekbench listing, the Galaxy A30 will be driven by the Exynos 7885 chipset and 4GB of RAM. The Galaxy A8 also uses the same system-on-chip (SoC). Well, this is not the first time that the information related to this new smartphone has surfaced.
A couple of specifications regarding the Samsung Galaxy A30 have been leaked earlier as well. According to leaked information, the Galaxy A30 will be offered in 32GB and 64GB storage variants. It is also speculated that the company will launch around nine models under the Galaxy A series in the first half of 2019.
The biggest show will be the Galaxy Unpacked event where Samsung will launch the Galaxy S10 lineup that will include the Galaxy S10, S10 Plus and S10 Lite. The Galaxy S10 X, a 5G variant of Galaxy S10 will also arrive in late March this year.
