Soon after starting the Android Pie beta registrations for the Galaxy Note 8, Samsung has just officially opened the registrations for the One UI beta program based on Android Pie to the Galaxy S8 and S8 Plus.
As reported by SamMobile, the Samsung Members app in India got the notice of this program and will surely hit other markets soon. As far as the One UI beta program on Note 8 is concerned, South Korea and the UK are the first to get the update.
The Samsung Galaxy S8 receives the beta firmware compiled under version G950FXXU4ZSA5, while the Galaxy S8 Plus, in turn, gets the version G955FXXU4ZSA5.
The new One UI brings the Android 9 Pie with all the features of Google’s latest OS along with with the enhancements of the new exclusive interface of the Samsung Galaxy family.
Keep in mind that it should still take some time for the stable version of the Android Pie to be released for the Galaxy S8 and S8 Plus. If Samsung’s timeline does not change until then, it is said that the Galaxy S8 duo will receive the new stable operating system in March this year.
