Vivo is ready to launch its Apex 2019 smartphone on January 24 in India and China. There are lots of talking regarding the handset because we still don’t know much about the device. We’ve also seen the leaked images, though they are not revealing the full design.
Now, a promo video (below) and concept image (above) has surfaced on the internet which shows the complete design of the Vivo Apex 2019. However, some details are still missing, such as where is the front camera? Is it based on a slider mechanism or pop-up camera setup as seen in the Vivo NEX?
The Vivo Apex 2019 is also known by its codename ‘Waterdrop‘. But there is no exact information what this waterdrop really suggest. In the video and image, we can see the front with no notch and front camera. It’s a full-view display.
At the rear panel, there is a dual camera setup along with an LED flash. At the bottom, there is a Vivo branding. The interesting point to note here is that there is no physical button, for power and volume.
No details regarding the technical specifications of Vivo Apex 2019 is revealed yet, however, the strongest rumor talks of the presence of the Qualcomm Snapdragon 855 processor.
The Snapdragon 855 is Qualcomm’s 2019 flagship SoC which also has 5G support with an inbuilt X50 5G modem. Most of the flagship devices this such as Samsung Galaxy S10, OnePlus 7, Xiaomi Mi 9, etc will be using this chipset.
So maybe, the Vivo Apex 2019 might also come with 5G support. Let’s wait for the official launch on January 24.
