Xiaomi announced a new Mi Box 4 SE that comes to the market at a great price. According to the manufacturer, the set-top box also brings some extra features like voice control to change channels, check the weather forecast and more.
The Xiaomi Mi Box 4 SE set version includes the artificial smart set-top box and Xiaomi HD data cable (1.5 meters). It comes at a price tag of CNY 189 (around INR 1,950) which is cheaper than the previously launched Mi Box 4.
With this, the company renews its successful relationship with the Mi Box that has won many consumers and fans around the world. However, the new version is low in terms of performance and configuration.
The device runs on the Cortex-A7 quad-core SoC. In addition, the device has 1GB of RAM and Mali-400 GPU. Anyway, Xiaomi ensures that these simple settings are enough to run videos in 1080p, and it is not recommended to “force the bar” in games.
The new Mi Box 4 SE also has a feature that allows you to mirror the smartphone screen on the TV with the PatchWall customization. Talking about the connectivity, the device supports Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n (2.4GHz) and USB connection.
On the backside, you get a 3.5mm audio connector, a USB-A 2.0 port to connect devices like external storage, power input and an HDMI port. Everything organized very simply and following the design line of the previous devices.
As mentioned earlier, the price of Mi Box 4 SE is CNY 189 (around INR 1,950) and it’ll go on sale starting January 11.
