HMD Global has started rolling out the Android 9.0 Pie update to the Nokia 2.1. The update comes a day after releasing the Android Pie update to the Nokia 8 and Nokia 6 (2017). It’s going according to the schedule.
HMD Global CPO, Juho Sarvikas today tweeted the news, but he did not mention which region it’ll start. But the Nokia Mobile India tweeted the same news which confirms the update is rolling out in India. Check out both tweets below:

The Nokia 2.1 came back in May 2018 as an Android Go phone along with Nokia 5.1 and 3.1. running Android 8.1 Oreo (Go Edition) out of the box. The highlight features include stereo speakers and a large 4,000mah battery.
It comes with a 5.5-inch HD display which gets Gorilla Glass protection. It is powered by the Snapdragon 425 paired with 1GB of RAM and 8GB of internal storage.
