The Samsung Galaxy Note 8 was running the beta version of Android 9.0 Pie under the One UI interface since last month and had received four different beta versions. Now, after the Galaxy S9, Galaxy S9 Plus and Galaxy Note 9, the Exynos Galaxy Note 8 now receiving the stable Android 9.0 Pie update.
As reported by XDA Developers, the Android Pie update with One UI was first released in Bulgaria and Slovakia, Western Europe. Later it was noted that the update is now rolling out in India too. The update comes with build numbers N950FXXU5DSB2 / N950FOXM5DSB2 / N950FXXU5DSB1 and also includes the February 2019 Android security patch.
Surely users will find here all the sweet features of Android 9.0 Pie. Also, the features present in the new interface One UI from Samsung. The most awaited feature is the new night mode. The update weighs approximately 1.9 GB if you haven’t installed previous beta updates.
Those updating from a beta can seemingly expect a 571MB download size as you can see in the above image. The update is already being distributed to OTA users (over-the-air) and will gradually arrive on all eligible devices.
In other markets, it can take a few weeks to arrive including the US. Although we reported that the carrier locked Galaxy S9 and S9+ users in the US are getting the Pie update.
