Samsung is one of the few companies that still invest in smartwatches, just like Apple. The company recently changed the name of its line of wearable devices, leaving the name Gear and returning to Galaxy, as it was in the first model. The Galaxy Watch is the flagship brand today, and now Samsung planning to launch a sports variant for it soon.
We have already seen some leaks and certifications talking about Samsung Galaxy Sport Watch, giving us some details on what to expect from the model. The smartwatch was seen on the certification website with codename ‘Pulse’.
Now, new images shared by TigerMobiles come out indicating that it will be revealed in at least three color options. Apparently, it will be sold even in the black, blue-green and pink gold. The finish extends to the buckle and has a matching strap.
One of the key features of the Samsung watch series, the rotating bezel, will really stay out of this smartwatch. This can make many of them stand back with the model, as it is highly praised. The two buttons remain on the right side and should be used now. With the lack of the crown, the South Korean may end up needing to make some software adaptations.
Samsung has not confirmed when it’ll release the Galaxy Sport. However, there are good chances that we could see it on February 20 at Unpacked event where Samsung will also bring the Galaxy S10.
