Samsung working on a new budget smartphone with Android Go under the Galaxy A-series. The handset appears on the benchmarking website Geekbench. The phone listed on February 12 with model SM-A260F and also reveals other specifications.
As per the listing, the handset will come with 1GB RAM running Android 8.1 Oreo out-of-the-box. Talking about the processor, the SM-A260F will get the Exynos 7870 SoC. This also hints that it might be launched in India.
Last month, we reported about another Galaxy A-series phone, the Galaxy A30 which got listed on Geekbench with model number SM-A305F.
So maybe, Samsung would be planning to bring a complete series.
Recently, the company launched the Galaxy M10 and Galaxy M20 mid-range smartphones under the new Galaxy M-series in India. Both handsets come with decent hardware configurations such as 5000 mAh battery and face unlock feature.
The highlight features of both Samsung Galaxy M10 and Galaxy M20 includes the Infinity-V Display and dual camera setup at the rear. The Samsung Galaxy M20 price in India starts Rs. 10,990 for 3GB+32GB variant. The Galaxy M10, on the other hand, starts from Rs. 7990 for the 2GB+16GB storage model.
