Samsung has introduced its new tablet, the Galaxy Tab S5e. It comes with new features packed in a 5.5mm sleek metal body. It also integrates Bixby (Bixby 2.0) Voice functionality so you can smartly and more conveniently interact with your tablet.
With 5.5mm thickness, the Samsung Galaxy Tab S5e is not even thinner but also lighter weighing only 400 grams. Thinner and lighter than the 11-inch iPad Pro. It has 81.8 percent screen-to-body ratio which offers good space.
“The Tab S5e is a top-tier tablet with a sleek design and powerful features, available at a new price point,” said DJ Koh, President, and CEO of IT & Mobile Communications Division, Samsung Electronics. “For users who want intelligence that keeps them connected so they can get more done—as well as a big, beautiful screen for a rich, premium entertainment experience—the Tab S5e delivers.”
Samsung Galaxy Tab S5e Specifications
You get a 10.5-inch Super AMOLED display with 2560 x 1600 pixels resolution and 16:10 aspect ratio. An octa-core Snapdragon 670 chipset powers the Galaxy Tab S5e and the battery of 7,040mAh capacity seems enough.
It supports fast charging and Samsung claims up to 14.5 hours of battery life. But it may vary depending on usage and settings. The good point here is that the Tab runs on Android 9.0 Pie.
The Tab S5e is enabled with Dolby Atmos integrated with sound by AKG, for immersive 3D sound and professionally balanced audio. Talking about the optics, the device comes with a single 13MP rear camera and an 8MP front camera.
You get the option of 4GB/6GB RAM and 64GB/128GB internal storage which supports expansion up to 512GB via microSD card.
