During the Unpacked event, Samsung introduced the Galaxy S10 trio along with its first smartphone compatible with the fifth generation mobile network, the Samsung Galaxy S10 5G. The Galaxy S10 5G variant comes equipped with more features than the rest of the S10 family.
The highlight features of the S10 5G variant includes the four rear cameras, big display, dual front cameras, more powerful battery, and RAM configurations. Below is the technical specifications of the Samsung Galaxy S10 5G.
Samsung Galaxy S10 5G Specifications
In its technical specifications, the Samsung Galaxy S10 5G comes with a 6.7-inch AMOLED display, Snapdragon 855 chipset. The processor is equipped with Qualcomm’s X50 modem. You get 8GB of RAM and 256 GB of internal storage.
In terms of optics, the Galaxy S10 5G bears quad (four) camera setup at the rear. It includes 12MP sensor (f/1.5 or f/2.4; wide angle) + 16MP (f/2.2; ultra-wide) + two 12MP sensors (f/2.4; telephoto and ToF).
There is a dual selfie camera which features a 10MP sensor (f/1.9) + 8MP sensor (f/2.2). The battery is 4,500 mAh with Super Fast Charging support of 25W and the smartphone runs on Android 9 Pie as an operating system.
Samsung Galaxy S10 5G Variant Pricing and Availability
The Samsung Galaxy S10 5G model in the US is $749 (around INR 53,200) and will be available through Verizon Wireless exclusively for a limited time in the first half of 2019. AT&T, Spectrum Mobile, Sprint, T-Mobile and Xfinity Mobile will launch at a later date this summer.
It will be available in a limited number of regions globally where the commercial 5G connectivity will start later this year. So Galaxy S10 in India is not going to be available soon.
