Samsung Teases the Launch of its Foldable Smartphone at the Unpacked Event

Samsung finally releases the video teaser confirming the launch date of its foldable smartphone. Currently, the official name is not clear but the phone is known internally as the Galaxy F, the Galaxy Fold, and simply the Fold.

The foldable phone will be unveiled on February 20 at Samsung’s Unpacked Event in San Francisco. The South Korean tech giant will use the same stage to launch the much-awaited Galaxy S10 series.

The series is likely to include three models namely, the Galaxy S10, S10e and S10 Plus. A 5G variant of the S10 and a Limited Edition Galaxy S10+ model is also expected to arrive in March.

The Samsung foldable phone, as a prototype though, was first shown off at the company’s developer conference in November 2018. Samsung has not given much information about the foldable phone but it did say that the screen technology it uses is called Infinity Flex Display.

We are digging more information regarding price, availability, and specifications. For now, the news is speculating that the folding phone will to go on sale in April. Although, we are not sealing this date until official confirmation.
