Sony made its conference at the MWC 2019 where the company finally presented its new smartphones. Taking a new position in the market, the company also announced a change in the name of its series under which these handsets are launched.
So, instead of using the “Xs” or “As”, the Japanese giant now turns to numbers. With this, the new Xperia 1, 10, 10 Plus and L3 were announced. Some of these devices come in the market with the new ratio of 21:9, something that we talked about quite a bit in previous reports.
The Sony Xperia 1 was the first smartphone announced by the Japanese company. It’s the high-end device and packs the best in hardware. Let’s talk about the specs of all these handsets in detail.
Sony Xperia 1 Specifications
It incorporates a 6.5-inch CinemaWide OLED display with a 21:9 aspect ratio, 4K resolution, and Gorilla Glass 6 protection.
In addition, taking advantage of the technology of BRAVIA TVs, Sony brought support for the HDR, and the multimedia experience has been enhanced with Dolby Atmos technology. The phone runs on Android 9 Pie.
Now, when it comes to cameras, the Xperia 1 comes with three 12MP rear sensors. The main features are Super Slow-motion in Full HD, Dual Pixel technology and ability to save photos in RAW format. There is a front-facing camera of 8 megapixels.
It is powered by the Qualcomm’s latest Snapdragon 855 processor with Adreno 640 GPU for graphics. You get 6GB of RAM and 128 GB of internal storage. The phone has a 3,300 mAh battery and a fingerprint reader integrated with the power button.
Sony Xperia L3 Specifications
The Xperia L3 comes as Sony’s bet on the low-cost market. So it has a 5.7-inch screen with a ratio of 18:9 and HD+ resolution. Its processor is the MediaTek Helio P22, which works in conjunction with 3GB of RAM and 32 GB of internal storage.
In terms of optics, it comes with two rear cameras of 13 MP + 2 MP and a selfie camera with a resolution of 8MP. There is a 3,300 mAh battery runs on Android 8.1 Oreo.
Sony Xperia 10 Specifications
The Xperia 10 comes to the market with a compact body carrying a screen of 6-inches with an aspect ratio of 21: 9 and resolution of 1080 x 2520 pixels. Under the hood, it features the Snapdragon 630 processor, which works with 3GB of RAM and 64 GB of storage.
At the rear, you get two camera sensors of 13MP + 5MP. Still, Sony ensures the device can record videos in 4K resolution and features electronic stabilization. The single front sensor is 8MP and the battery has a capacity of 2,870 mAh.
Sony Xperia 10 Plus Specifications
Finally, the Xperia 10 Plus can be defined as a “more accessible” version of the new top-of-the-line enterprise. With this, it carries the same 6.5-inch screen with a ratio of 21:9. However, the technology of this display is IPS LCD.
The processor used is the Snapdragon 636, and the set consists of 4 GB of RAM and 64 GB of internal storage. In the camera department, the device has two rear sensors with 12MP + 8MP and can record videos in 4K with electronic stabilization.
The device runs the Android 9.0 Pie and has a battery with 3,000 mAh of capacity.
