T-Mobile Started Rolling Out One UI (Android Pie) Update to the Galaxy S9 and S9+

T-Mobile has also started releasing the One UI (Android Pie) Update to the Galaxy S9 and S9+. AT&T, Sprint & Verizon users are already enjoying the update. The update comes with One UI experience and RCS Universal Profile 1.0 support.

As reported by SamMobile, the RCS Universal Profile allow users to send photos, videos, emojis through the standard messaging app and skips the use of messaging apps like WhatsApp.

The Samsung Galaxy S9 gets the software version G960USQS3CSAB and the Galaxy S9 Plus G965USQU3CSAB respectively. The One UI which is the revamped version of the TouchWiz interface brings exciting new features and a whole new look and feel.

The update is rolling out over the air (OTA) and weighs around 1964.25 MB. So it’s recommended to use Wi-Fi to download the update. You’ll automatically get the update once it is ready for your device.

You can also check manually by going to –

  1. Settings > Software update > Download updates manually.
  2. Wait for the device to check for updates.
  3. Tap OK > Start.
  4. When the restart message appears, tap OK.
