A couple days back we shared the render of Xiaomi Mi 9 Explorer Edition revealing quad cameras at the rear. Now a video teaser and official images of Mi 9 EE released confirming the triple rear cameras.
The video also reveals the presence of a wireless charging coil. It is already confirmed from the leaked protective film that the Mi 9 will come with 20W wireless charging support. Much like the Mi 8 Explorer Edition, the Mi 9 EE variant will have a translucent (transparent) back panel but the design visible under the cover is different.

Xiaomi Mi 9 Explorer Edition Specifications
We already know some of the specifications of the Xiaomi Mi 9 from leaks and even officially confirmed by the company itself. We are expecting an upgrade in some departments in the Explorer Edition.
As far as the Mi 9 specifications are concerned, it will be powered by Snapdragon 855, though we are not going to see the 5G support. The handset will come with an in-display fingerprint sensor, NFC support, Game Turbo, etc.
The three cameras at the rear will have a 48MP primary sensor, a 12MP telephoto lens with 2x optical zoom and a 16MP ultra wide angle lens. It is said that the Xiaomi Mi 9 Explorer Edition will be the most powerful smartphone in the world.
