Samsung has started rolling out the latest Android 9.0 Pie update on Galaxy A8+ (2018). You can also download the Pie update manually. The update comes with build numbers A730FXXU4CSB9/ A730FOXM4CSB9/ A730FXXU4CSB7/ A730FXXU4CSB9. It includes the February 2019 Android security patch.

The Samsung Galaxy A8+ was launched in December 2017 along with the Galaxy A8 (2018). Both are mid-range smartphones and share the same display design that is used in the Galaxy Note 8, known as Infinity Display.

In the Pie update, you’ll get the Samsung’s new One UI user interface instead of the old TouchWiz UI along with other Pie features.

Samsung Galaxy A8+ Specifications

The Samsung Galaxy A8+ (2018) comes with a 6-inch FHD+ Super AMOLED display with the same resolution as the Galaxy A8 (2018). It runs Android 7.1.1 Nougat OS out of the box and available in 4GB/6GB RAM and 32/64GB internal storage options.

You can expand the storage via microSD card up to 256GB. The smartphone sports a 16-megapixel single camera sensor at the rear with an f/1.7 lens. The camera is equipped with video digital image stabilization (VDis) technology which prevents the shaking of videos while capturing.

There is a dual camera setup with 16MP+8MP sensors at the front for selfies. Other features include a 3500mAh battery, 4G LTE, Wi-Fi 802.11ac, NFC, USB Type-C port, Bluetooth v5.0, and GPS/ A-GPS.
