Black Shark 2 Teaser Image Confirms Snapdragon 855 and 12GB RAM

After confirming the launch date, Xiaomi-backed Black Shark has released the teaser image which confirms the key specs of the Black Shark 2 gaming phone. The phone has also appeared on GeekBench a couple of days back.

The image reveals the presence of Snapdragon 855 chipset and 12GB of RAM. These two combinations are present in some of the high-end devices launched in 2019 such as Galaxy S10 5G, Xiaomi Mi 9 and Mi MIX 3 5G.

This shows how much the company is concerned about developing a high-quality product for the gaming enthusiasts, ensuring a differentiated performance in gaming. Regarding energy, some optimizations were made to provide users with an improved battery to the point of guaranteeing up to 60% more optimization in product loading and unloading cycles.

Earlier this month, the company released an image which revealed March 18 as the launch date of the Black Shark 2 (Skywalker). The GeekBnech listing showed the handset running Android 9.0 Pie and the Snapdragon 855 chipset which is now confirmed in the official teaser image.

In addition to the Snapdragon 855, there is no other features are officially confirmed yet. But as per recent leaks and rumors, the smartphone might come with Game Turbo mode, Liquid Cool 3.0 technology and will also carry support for 27W rapid charging.

It’ll have a dual rear camera system positioned in the upper left corner, with an LED flash just below. We can’t say anything much now, so we’ve to wait for the official launch. Stay tuned.
