Finally, after a long wait and a series of leaks and teasers, Huawei launched the Huawei P30 and P30 Pro smartphones. Both are flagship devices and according to the company packs best-in-class smartphone camera. The P30 Pro is the top model in the series and sports a quad-camera setup at the rear.
However, this is not the first phone to have four cameras. Last year, Samsung launched the Galaxy A9 (2018) which also comes with four rear cameras. And you must also have heard about the Nokia 9 PureView which even has Penta-lens (five cameras) at the rear.
Huawei P30 and P30 Pro Specifications
Some features are the same in both handsets such as Kirin 980 processors, 32-megapixel front camera and runs Android 9 Pie with EMUI 9.1. Kirin 980 is better than the Exynos or Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 processors in all the benchmarks.
However, you can not consider the benchmark everything, it may differ in the actual use. The top speed of this processor is 2.6GHz and paired with Mali G76MP10 GPU for graphics. The Huawei P30 has 6GB RAM while the P30 Pro has 6GB and 8GB RAM options.
In terms of memory, the P30 comes in 128GB storage and P30 Pro will be available 128GB/256GB variants. If you want, you can increase the storage with the help of the card. A 6.1-inch OLED display is given in the P30 and a 6.47-inch OLED display in P30 Pro. The resolution of both the screens is 2340 x 1080 pixels.
There are four rear cameras in the P30 Pro. The primary camera is 40-megapixels, the second camera is 20-megapixels, which is for wide angle shots. The third camera is 8-megapixels with a 5x zoom lens. The company called it the periscope lens. Its focal length is 125mm.
There is a fourth time-of-flight camera (ToF camera). Which calculates how long it takes to travel light while clicking the shots, and then it delivers the information to the P30 Pro user to give some unique features.
You get a triple camera setup at the rear with the primary sensor of 40-megapixel, a 16-megapixel secondary sensor for wide angle shots and the third camera is 8-megapixel with 3X telephoto lenses.
The battery in Huawei P30 is 3650 mAh, while the P30 Pro battery is 4200 mAh. Both smartphones offer an in-display fingerprint sensor and in-display earpiece speaker.
Huawei P30 and P30 Pro India Launch and Pricing
The Huawei P30 and P30 Pro will be launched in India in April as Amazon exclusive. A dedicated page is already live on the platform. The Huawei P30 series price in India is not revealed yet but it’s expected to around Rs. 60,000.
