Today we saw Oppo announced the launch date of its new Reno smartphone brand and now we’ve got the leaked specifications of the Oppo A5s, courtesy of MSP. The A5s will be a new variant of Oppo A5 under the mid-range segment. We don’t know much about the handset officially.
Last month, at the Mobile World Congress (MWC) 2019 the company announced the 10x lossless zoom technology for the smartphone camera. We might see this tech in handsets during the second quarter of 2019. However, it’s not confirmed if the Oppo A5s or Oppo Reno will feature this tech or not.
Oppo A5s Specifications
As per the leaked specs sheet, the A5s will come with a display size of 6.2-inch with HD+ IPS 1520×720 pixels resolution and 19:9 aspect ratio. The handset will be driven by an octa-core MediaTek 12nm Helio P35 processor. The phone is said to arrive 2GB/3GB/4GB RAM and 32GB or 64GB of internal storage options.
As far as the optics are concerned, the Oppo A5s will have a dual camera setup at the rear with a 13-megapixel primary and 2-megapixel depth sensor. On the front, there will be an 8-megapixel selfie sensor.
There will be Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, GPS, and 4G LTE connectivity options but lacks support for NFC. A 4230mAh battery will fuel the Oppo A5s and you’ll also find a fingerprint sensor at the rear. As mentioned earlier, these are leaked specs and not officially confirmed yet. So, we’ve to wait until the launch.
