Xiaomi has started releasing the MIUI 10.2.7.0 update on Redmi Note 7 handset in India. The update brings much awaited ‘Enhanced Low Light Mode’ as it was missing in the Xiaomi Redmi Note 7. This is an MIUI 10.2.7.0 (PFGINXM) stable update and will help users to take pictures in low-light conditions, especially in the night.
The Redmi Note 7 was launched in India earlier this month along with the Redmi Note 7 Pro. The Note 7 Pro already has the Night Mode. Both handsets are mid-range devices. The Pro variant is now coming to China on March 18 along with the Redmi 7.
The update information was shard on Mi Community forum with screenshots (see below). However, we still don’t know if the update is rolling out in phases or if it has been widely released in a single batch for all eligible models.
Redmi Note 7 Specifications
It has a Qualcomm Snapdragon 660 SoC, 4,000 mAh battery, 6.3-inch display and Gorilla Glass 5. The Redmi Note 7 in India is available 3GB/4GB RAM and 32GB/64GB storage options. At the back side, you’ll get a dual-camera setup which consists of 12MP+2MP sensors with AI. For charging, there is a USB type-C port that supports 18W Quick Charge 4.0.
The front camera has a 13MP AI sensor enabled with AI beauty, AI portrait mode, AI scene detection. The phone went on sale for the first time in India on March 6 at a price starting Rs. 9,999 for the 3GB RAM and 32GB storage.
