MIUI Product Director Liu Ming and Design Director Ge Rui during an AMA session about MIUI 11 revealed some of the key features of the upcoming MIUI 11 OS. MIUI’s current system icons and interface styles have not changed much since MIUI 6. The later generations of systems are partially modified though.
The MIUI product manager said, “The design language of MIUI 10 is not fully applied to the system. We are working overtime to do a unified design. I hope that MIUI 11 will gain everyone’s praise. Of course, the icon is definitely new.”
In addition, MIUI product manager revealed that MIUI 11 will join the global system dynamics while integrating the curriculum function in a negative screen and optimizing it.
At the same time, MIUI 11 will also add the ultimate power saving mode, in which except texts and calls the system will turn off all the unexpected useless functions. The screen will change to black and white mode, in order to use in extreme power shortage.
In addition, automatic deletion after screenshot sharing, status bar optimization, system-wide dark theme, new information screen scheme, etc. will be presented on MIUI 11, which is worth looking forward to.
Last time we shared the list of MIUI 11 compatible devices which include the Mi and Redmi series. Some of the Mi-series of smartphones which supports the Xiaomi MIUI 11 includes the Mi 9, Mi 8, Mi 8 SE, Mi 8 Pro, Mi 8 Explorer Edition, Mi 6, Mi Mix 3, etc.
