Realme 2 OTA Update Brings March Security Patch and a Couple of Camera Features

Realme 2 is now receiving a new OTA update that fuels the handset with March 2019 security patch and also a couple of camera features. The update comes with build number: RMX1805EX_11.A.25_0250_201903192122.

Right now, the update is rolling out in India and Indonesia in a phase-wise manner. The OTA update will be randomly released to a limited number of users today and will have a broader rollout in a few days.

Below is the full changelog:


● Added Expert mode.

● Added Fingerprint Shooting for the camera.


● Android Security Patch Level: March 5, 2019.

The Realme 2 is a budget smartphone and was launched in India in August 2018. It comes in 3+23GB/4/64GB variants with a diamond-cut design with improved reflecting effect and 12-layer nanotech.

A Snapdragon 450 processor powers the handset and there is a dual camera setup at the rear with 13MP+2MP sensors. The front has an 8MP selfie camera.
