Finally, we’ve come to know the launch date of Redmi 7 and Redmi Note 7 Pro. Both smartphones will be launched on March 18 at an event in China. The launch posters were shared by Lu Weibing and Redmi on Weibo. You can check out the posters below.

It’s worth mentioning that the Redmi Note 7 is the first device after Redmi became an independent brand. Recently, Xiaomi launched the Redmi Note 7 and Note 7 Pro in the Indian market starting at Rs. 9,999 and 13,999 respectively.

Redmi 7 Specifications

There is no official word regarding the technical specifications of the Redmi 7. But from leaks and rumors, we’ve come to know some the key specs of the device. The phone is said to arrive with a 6.26-inch Full HD+ resolution display with a 19:9 aspect ratio.

We might see the Qualcomm Snapdragon 625 processor clubbed with 2GB/3GB/4GB of RAM and 16GB/32GB/64 GB of internal storage options. Dual camera sensors will be there at the rear and an 8MP front camera.

Redmi 7 will be running Android 9.0 Pie with MIUI 10 skin on top and also packs a 4,000 mAh battery.

Redmi Note 7 Pro Specifications

We already know the specs and features of the Redmi Note 7 Pro because the handset is already official in India. The highlight features of the phone include the 48MP camera, 4,000 mAh battery, etc. It comes with a 6.3-inch Full HD+ display with 2340 ×1080 pixels resolution.

The smartphone is powered by the Snapdragon 675 SoC with Kryo 460 and Adreno 612 GPU. You get 4GB/6GB RAM+64GB/128GB storage options. At the rear, there is a dual camera setup in the combination of a 48MP primary sensor and a 5MP secondary Sony IMX586 sensor. The front houses a 13MP AI camera.

The Redmi Note 7 Pro runs MIUI 10 based on Android 9.0 Pie out of the box. The Note 7 Pro is not the only smartphone which has a 48MP camera. Other smartphones like the Honor View 20, Vivo V15 Pro and the Oppo F11 Pro also come with a 48MP camera.
