Xiaomi has finally announced the launch of its two new smartphones in India, Redmi Note 7 and Note 7 Pro. It’s worth noting that the Redmi Note 7 is already launched in China and is the first phone under the Redmi brand.

Now the Indian market receives both the Note 7 and Note 7 Pro equipped with powerful specs and features which the company claims will turn the smartphone industry upside down. Here we’ll discuss the specifications and pricing details of Redmi Note 7 and Note 7 Pro.

Specifications of Redmi Note 7

In terms of design, both handsets share an identical design and also some same features such as a 4,000 mAh battery, 6.3-inch display and Gorilla Glass 5. The Redmi Note 7 comes with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 660 chipset.

You get three RAM and storage options which include 3GB/4GB/ RAM and 32GB/64GB storage. There is a 6.3-inch Full HD+ resolution display featuring a waterdrop notch and Corning Gorilla Glass 5 on both front and rear.

Talking about the cameras, the Note 7 bears a dual-camera setup at the rear with 12MP+2MP sensors with AI. There is a 13MP AI selfie camera enabled with AI beauty, AI portrait mode, AI scene detection.

A 4,000 mAh battery fuels the handset and comes with a USB type-C port that supports 18W Quick Charge 4.0.

Specifications of Redmi Note 7 Pro

As mentioned earlier, the Redmi Note 7 Pro comes with the same 6.3-inch Full HD+ as in the Redmi Note 7 offering a resolution of 2340 ×1080 pixels. A Snapdragon 675 SoC drives the handset with Kryo 460 and Adreno 612 GPU.

There are 4GB/6GB RAM+64GB/128GB storage options. On the camera department, the Redmi Note 7 Pro has dual rear cameras. A 48MP primary sensor and a 5MP secondary Sony IMX586 sensor.

The Redmi Note 7 Pro will feature MIUI 10 based on Android 9.0 Pie out of the box.

The Note 7 Pro is not the only smartphone which has a 48MP camera. We’ve seen the 48MP camera in the Honor View 20, Vivo V15 Pro and the upcoming Oppo F11 Pro. A 13MP AI front camera enabled with AI beauty, AI portrait mode, AI scene detection. A 4,000 mAh battery is also there.

Pricing and Availability of Redmi Note 7 and Note 7 Pro

The Redmi Note 7 price in India starts as Rs. 9,999 for the 3GB RAM and 32GB storage. The 4GB RAM and 64GB storage variant come at a price tag of Rs. 11,999. The Redmi Note 7 Pro, on the other hand, is priced at Rs. 13,999 for the 4GB RAM and 64GB storage, while the 6GB RAM and 128GB storage variant will be available at Rs. 16,999.

The Redmi Note 7 will go on sale for the first time in India on 6th March at 12 noon, while the Note 7 Pro will gon sale on 13th March. Both handsets will be available Mi online store, Mi Home and Flipkart.
