Samsung has silently launched a new Galaxy A-series smartphone, the Samsung Galaxy A20. It is a mid-range handset and offers some decent specs such as a dual camera setup and 4000 mAh battery.

“Our goal is to provide the best impressions from the use of mobile products to all users, and confirmation of this is smartphones of the updated Galaxy A-line,” said the head of Samsung Mobile in Russia Dmitry Gostev. “We have expanded the Galaxy A model range by adding more affordable devices previously offered in the Galaxy J series. Thus, Galaxy A now represents the best features of smartphones in every price segment.”

Samsung Galaxy A20 Specifications

The Samsung Galaxy 20 is driven by the Exynos 7884 processor paired with 3GB RAM and 32GB of internal storage. The storage supports expansion via a microSD card slot up to 512GB. The South Korean tech giant has used the Infinity-V Super AMOLED display of 6.4-inch size with HD+ resolution.

Bing a mid-range device, the Galaxy A20 has a combination of glass and plastic as its build material and 3D Glasstic design. The dual cameras at the rear include a 13MP sensor with aperture f/1.9 and a 5MP sensor with f/2.2 aperture.

On the front, the smartphone houses an 8MP selfie shooter f/2.0 aperture. You also get a fingerprint sensor at the rear and a 4,000 mAh battery.

Samsung Galaxy A20 Pricing and Availability

Currently, the Galaxy A20 is available only in Russia a price tag of RUB13,990 (around INR 15,000). There is no information if/when the handset will make its way to the global markets.
