Vivo iQOO

Vivo has launched its first smartphone under its iQOO brand, the iQOO smartphone. We’ve been seeing several teasers for a long time before the official launch. The new iQOO handset packs some most powerful features.

The Vivo iQOO comes with Snapdragon 855 chipset which is the current flagship SoC from Qualcomm and we’ve seen this in Galaxy S10, Xiaomi Mi 9 and Mi MIX 3 5G. Other highlights of the Vivo’s iQOO includes triple cameras at the rear, 44W superflash charge, and a 4,000 mAh battery.

Vivo iQOO Specifications and Features

The new Vivo iQOO smartphone has a 6.41-inch AMOLED display with a resolution of 1080×2340 pixels. Qualcomm’s latest Snapdragon 855 Octa-core processor is given in the handset. You get an in-display fingerprint sensor.

If we talk about the camera, iQOO coms with a 12-megapixel front camera and triple camera setup at the rear with 13MP + 12MP + 2 MP sensors. The handset is fueled with a 4,000mAh battery with a USB Type-C port, which offers a 44W super flash charge.

The company claims the 44W charge technology which can charge the phone in 15 minutes to 50%, in 30 minutes to 85% and fully charge within 50 minutes. The phone has also been given the gaming-related feature ‘4D Shock’.

The Vivo iQOO will be available in three RAM and four storage variants – 6GB/8GB/12GB RAM + 128GB/256GB/256GB storage. It’s worth noting that the 6GB+128GB variant will have only 22.5W charging support.

The Multi Turbo features include AI Turbo, Center Turbo, Net Turbo, Cooling Turbo, and Game Turbo. The smartphone runs Android 9.0 Pie out of the box.

Vivo iQOO Pricing and Availability

The most affordable 6GB RAM + 128 GB storage model of iQOO comes at a price of CNY 2,998 (around INR 32,000). The 8GB RAM + 128 storage is priced at CNY 3,298 (around INR 35,000), while the 8GB + 256GB costs CNY 3,598 (around INR 38,000).

The top of the line model having 12GB RAM + 256 GB internal storage will cost CNY 4,298 (around 45,000). The Vivo iQOO will be available in Electric Blue or Lava Orange starting March 6. Registration will open on March 2 on TMall.
