We’ve been hearing for a long of a new gaming phone from Xiaomi, the Black Shark 2. Now, the company has confirmed the launch date of Black Shark 2. The new gaming smartphone will be launched on March 18 in China.
In 2018, Xiaomi launched the Black Shark and Black Shark Helo. As mentioned earlier, we’ve already seen a lot of rumors talking about their successor, the Xiaomi Black Shark 2 Skywalker. It includes some design modifications, as well as hardware improvements, including a newer processor.
The company has released the official launch poster of the handset on its Weibo account which confirms the March 18 as the launch date. Check out the poster below:

the handset has been found in a number of situations in the past, from benchmark tests to even certifications. These early reports suggested that the Black Shark 2 might come with Snapdragon 855 and variants with 8 GB and up to 12 GB of RAM.
We’ll also get to see the latest Android 9.0 Pie running under the hood. Another interesting point is that the CEO of Black Shark has confirmed that the next model will bring a new liquid cooling system. This cooling system allow the phone to stay cool longer, delivering maximum power for longer.
