Xiaomi has now confirmed that the 5G variant of the Xiaomi Mi MIX 3 has received 5G CE certification. A 5G certificate offered in Europe. With this, the device became the first device with Snapdragon 855 and X50 modem to receive this type of approval. Xiaomi via its official Twitter account shared the news.
Regarding this news, Xiaomi president Lin Bin said, “Just got the news, the 5G version of Mi MIX 3 has passed the rigorous inspection test of Sporton which a professional third-party mobile communication laboratory, and the German CTC, the notified body of the EU CE certification, recently issued a certificate of 5G CE certification. This is The first phone based on the Qualcomm Snapdragon 855 chip + X50 platform.”

He also said that the device has undergone several tests of inspection in laboratories of the regulatory body of the European Union. As we know, the Mi MIX 3 5G was announced along with the Xiaomi Mi 9 in the global event.
With this, the certification indicates that Xiaomi will actually fulfill its initial schedule and launch the device during the month of May.
