Asus has finally started releasing the Android 9.0 Pie update to the ZenFone Max Pro M1, Max Pro M2, and Max M2. Previously, the company had confirmed that it’ll bring the Pie update to these handsets by April 15th, and now here it is.
Currently, the update is reported to be rolling out in India. Other regions might join in the coming days. The Pie update on the ZenFone Max Pro (ZB601KL) comes with version 16.2017.1903.050 and brings the updated security patch.
The update on ZenFone Max M2 (ZB632KL) has the software version 16.2018.1903.37. It also comes with an update to Google Mobile Services. 16.2017.1903.061 is the firmware version in the Android Pie update for ZenFone Max Pro M2 (ZB630KL).
