EMUI 9.1

EMUI is the interface used in the Huawei and Honor smartphones. Recently we saw the announcement of the new version, EMUI 9.1, which still has the Android 9.0 Pie included, and brings several new features.

It was not clear which devices would receive the new version of Chinese software. However, a report from Chinese tech website MyDrivers lists out the handsets eligible for the EMUI 9.1 skin. For now, the list shows around 49 handsets that will receive the new interface. check out:

The first batch of smartphones is made up of those devices that already run a beta of EMUI 9.1:

  • Huawei Mate 20
  • Huawei Mate 20 Pro
  • Huawei Mate 20 X
  • Huawei Mate 20 Porsche Design

The second batch of devices consists of devices in which Huawei is currently testing EMUI 9.1:

  • Huawei Mate 10
  • Huawei Mate 10 Pro
  • Huawei Mate RS Porsche Design
  • Huawei Mate 9
  • Huawei Mate 9 Pro
  • Huawei Mate 9 Porsche Design

However, it’s not clear yet when these models will receive this update, but we’re expecting it to arrive in the coming months.
