LG starts rolling the Android 9 Pie update for LG V35 ThinQ in South Korea. The update brings all the new Pie features for the device. Unfortunately, there is still no information on when the company will make this update available globally.
It should not take much time for a global rollout, as rumors say that the beta testing for this update in the United States has already finished. LG has not been doing good in recent times in the smartphone industry.
But it still has a large number of handsets in the catalog to support. And now it doesn’t seem to be leaving the industry as recently the company has filed new patents for smartphones.
Right now, the Android Pie update is rolling out over-the-air and is available to three variants of the LG V35 ThinQ. The carrier-locked models running on LG Uplus and KT Freetel and carrier unlocked 256GB model.
The LG V35 ThinQ was launched in Brazil in July 2018 along with the LG G7 ThinQ. The phone comes with a 6-inch (2880 × 1440 pixels) OLED display.
