Nokia 9 PureView software update

HMD Global has started releasing a new software update to Nokia 9 PureView. The update comes with Android Pie build version 4.22C and brings April 2019 security patch. In Addition, it also includes UI enhancements, speeds up the fingerprint sensor and improves system stability.

The update was first spotted by YouTuber TechAltar, who via his Twitter account shard the news. However, initially, he said that he did not find any specific improvement in the fingerprint reader or camera performance. But later he found it to b working fine.

Talking about the official news, on the other hand. HMD Global CPO, Juho Sarvikas today tweeted regarding the update and said that “We are rolling out a software update to your Nokia 9 PureView.” Check out his tweet below:

The Nokia 9 PureView was launched on 25 February and is now available for sale in the US. It’s the flagship device from HMD Global and also the industry’s first smartphone with five rear cameras.

As you can see in the tweet, the update is rolling out in phases so it might take some time to reach all the eligible handsets around the globe. Till then, you’ve to wait for the notification to arrive.
