Without creating much hype, Oppo has launched a new mid-range A-series smartphone in China, Oppo A9. Among the highlights of the Oppo A9 smartphone are the 4020 mAh battery and a 16MP front camera.
The front has a waterdrop notch housing the selfie sensor and the rear panel has a fingerprint sensor, dual camera setup and Oppo branding at the bottom. The handset will be available in Mica Green, Ice Jade White, and Fluorite Purple color options.

The 6.53-inch FHD+ display offers a resolution of 2340 x 1080 pixels and gets Corning Gorilla Glass 5 protection. The phone uses a 2.1GHz octa-core MediaTek P70 chipset for power and Mali-G72 MP3 GPU for graphics.
The Oppo A9 comes with 6GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage option. The storage supports further expansion via microSD card up to 256GB. The dual camera setup at the rear houses a 16MP AI sensor and 2MP depth sensor with Dual tone LED flash.
The front also has a 16MP selfie sensor. To enhance the gaming experience on the Oppo A9, the company equips the device with GameBoost 2.0. The version of the operating system is Android 9 Pie with ColorOS 6 skin on top.
The dual-SIM Oppo A9 has standard connectivity options like VoLTE, WiFi, GPS, A-GPS with GLONASS and a MicroUSB port.
Oppo A9 Price and Availability
The Oppo A9 is now available for reservation in China by at CNY 1,799 (around INR 18,700). The shipping will start from April 30.
