Soon after opening the reservations for the Reno smartphone series, Oppo has released a new teaser which confirms the size of the edges and screen to body ratio of the handset. As per the teaser image, the side bezels will be just 1.59mm thick, while the lower bezel will be 3.49mm.
OPPO Reno uses a panoramic display which will have a screen to body ratio of 93.1%. This is very close to OPPO Find X (OPPO Find X screen accounted for 93.8%). From earlier leaks we know some of the key specs and features.
Last month, the Oppo Reno was appeared on the TENAA certification with images and specifications. The smartphone is said to come with Snapdragon 710 chipset, 6.4-inch AMOLED display in Full HD+ resolution. There will be dual rear cameras at the rear and a 16MP front camera.
Reports are also surfacing that OPPO Reno will also have a top version, which will come with Qualcomm Snapdragon 855 flagship platform, supporting 10X hybrid optical zoom technology.
The smartphone will be running Android 9.0 Pie out of the box. Oppo will be launching the Reno series on April 10 at an event in China. So now we’ve to wait for the official launch.
