Oppo sub-brand Realme is getting closer to announcing its first flagship phone which might be called the Realme X. It’ll also the first from the brand to feature a pop-up selfie camera.
A video posted on the official Weibo account of Realme phone revealing the front design of the handset with a pop-up selfie camera. The title of the post mentions the name Realme X which hints the name of the phone.
Right now, the company has not officially revealed the specifications of the handset, but last week, a Realme phone appeared on the TENAA website with some technical details and images. However, information was somewhat vague and the images were not so clear to confirm if that device had a pop-up camera or sliding mechanism.
Now, to put an end to all doubts, a teaser released in China has confirmed that this device will have a selfie pop-up camera. However, the video also makes it clear that the bottom edges should be somewhat thick. We’ve imported the video to our Twitter account. Check out the video below:

According to the TENAA listing, the device comes as model number RMX1901, indicating an upgraded device in terms of build and hardware than Realme 3 Pro whose model number was RMX1851.
It also reveals dual cameras at the rear with LD flash but no fingerprint sensor. So we’re expecting an in-display fingerprint sensor.
Only this much of story for now regarding the upcoming Realme phone. Stay tuned for more.
