The Redmi Note 7 is receiving the MIUI v10.3.5.0.PREMIUM update in India. The Xiaomi Redmi Note 7 is the first smartphone after Redmi separated from Xiaomi became an independent brand. The model has already won its fans around the world and is highly praised for its budget pricing and decent specs.
The update brings a number of changes, bug fixes and also brings the March security patch. As per the changelog, the most important is a new series of modes for AI camera. However, the company has not given much detail on this subject so far.
There is also the Game Booster mode, optimizations for the unlock screen, for the notifications list, a new Mi Cloud’s start page, and the March 2019 security patch.
The update will be released gradually to all eligible devices around the world. The distribution started in India via OTA (over-the-air) and then landed for models in other locations.
The Redmi Note 7 was launched in India in March 2019 as a mid-range phone. The handset features a 6.3-inch FHD+ display with waterdrop notch and 2340 × 1080 pixels resolution. Under the hood, you get Snapdragon 660 processor with 3GB/6GB RAM options.
The smartphone sports dual camera setup at the rear with a 48MP main sensor, and a 5MP secondary sensor. A 4,000mAh battery fuels the handset.
