Chinese tech company ZTE is a long-time manufacturer of mobile phones. It has models with very basic features, so-called feature phones, and also smartphones, such as the Axon series.
Among its highlighted devices we see the Axon M, with two screens, and the recently announced ZTE Axon 10 Pro, the company’s first to rely on 5G mobile internet technology.
This smartphone was presented during the Mobile World Congress 2019, which took place in February in Barcelona. The ZTE Axon 10 Pro 5G recently passed tests on the AnTuTu Benchmark, one of the main platforms in this category.
There we saw how the smartphone with Snapdragon 855 is powerful since it managed to register one of the highest scores in the test, with its 381136 points.
It’s worth noting that the Snapdragon 855 comes in two variants – 5G and non-5G. The 5G variant comes with Snapdragon X55 5G modem. We’ve seen the Qualcomm Snapdragon 5G SoC in smartphones such as Galaxy S10 5G, Xiaomi Mi Mix 3 5G, and Nubia Mini 5G.
This shows that ZTE has worked well on the device, in order to optimize it to the maximum, to extract much of the power of the device. Unfortunately, it is not yet available for purchase, but will be officially launched on the Chinese market on May 6th.
