This week we saw Asus announcing its newest high-end smartphone, the Zenfone 6 at an event in Spain. Now the phone is almost ready to hit the Indian shores as the teaser page is now live on the e-commerce platform Flipkart. It indicates that the phone will be available soon.
It’s a flagship device and packs impressive hardware configurations which make it compete easily with the top models of Samsung, Apple, and Huawei launched in 2019. The highlights of the Asus Zenfone 6 includes the 5,000 mAh battery, Snapdragon 855 and the flip camera module.
The miniaturized motor drive assembly rotates the camera module 180 degrees so the cameras on the back are used for selfies on the front. There are two cameras with a 48MP sensor and 13MP sensor.
The phone runs on Android 9.0 Pie and driven by Snapdragon 855 SoC with 2.84 GHz octa-core CPU and Adreno 640 GPU. There is 6GB/8GB of LPDDR4X RAM and 64/128/256 GB of UFS 2.1 storage.
Right now, there is no official word regarding the pricing of the Zenfone 6 in India. By stay tuned, as we’ll be covering the launch and availability news.
