The camera of the Huawei P30 Pro gets even better with a new software update. The latest EMUI 184.108.40.206 version introduces the ‘Dual View’ mode to create unique videos. During the presentation of the P30 series, Huawei showed the ‘Dual View’ feature, but it was not available until now.
Without software updates, even the greatest smartphone is only worth half. Of course, the manufacturers know that as well and that’s the reason we see regular updates.
With Dual View feature, you can record video simultaneously with the primary camera and zoom lens. The ‘normal’ and zoomed images are then placed side by side in a sort of split view display, which gives a special effect.
You may need a little patience as the update is rolling out batches and will reach all eligible device slowly. In addition, the update adds some effects for the portrait mode and the security patch of April 2019. This gives the Huawei P30 Pro the latest security update from Google.
EMUI 220.127.116.11 Complete Changelog:
- Adds Dual-view mode to Camera, allowing you to view the panoramic and close-up video images while recording.
- Adds Charming portrait mode to Camera, allowing you to take portrait photos with more appealing blurring effects.
- Automatically generates highlight reels, applies effects templates, and creates MVs.
- Integrates Google security patches released in April 2019 for improved system security. For more information on the security of Huawei EMUI system updates, please visit the official Huawei website.
The software update is currently released in China only, but global users can also expect an OTA update soon.
The Huawei P30 Pro was launched in India along with P30 last month. The Pro variant is the top model in the series and comes with four cameras at the rear which is also the highlight of the device.
The device distinguishes itself primarily by the camera with 5x optical zoom, smooth hardware and robust 4200 mAh battery with super fast charging.
