Fenix Browser

Mozilla is working on Fenix browser, its newest browser for Android with new card management, a faster engine, a more modern look, and dark mode.

The navigation bar moves down the screen, making it easier to reach the three-point menu and enter new addresses even with one hand.

T the tab switching button displays a combined start page and an overview screen of the tabs where it is possible to save browsing sessions as collections, in addition, the dark theme of the app respects the system-wide default settings.

To register for the beta you will need to join the Fenix Nightly group and activate the beta version through the Play Store and then download the app, or you can directly download the apk file.

In another development, Firefox browser still receives improvements with version 67 which adds a widget to the home screen, which opens up Firefox with the address bar focused, similar to the Google Chrome search widget added two years ago.
