Even smartphones with excellent hardware configurations are often accompanied by a very limited software experience on the Android scene. But thanks to the efforts of thousands of independent developers who offer a more complete and comprehensive experience for mobile phones.

These can be referred to as custom ROMs and to start using a custom ROM, custom recoveries are vital – and TWRP is one of the strongest names in this generation. We know this tool is the most used by people who like to install custom ROMs on their smartphones.

Even responding as an open source application, TWRP in many cases arrives unofficially on multiple handsets, but the fortunate ones also get the official TWRP support. Now there are three more handsets which now get the official TWRP support – Redmi Note 7 Pro, Samsung Galaxy Tab S4 and HTC Desire 12 Plus.

Remember that the installation of a custom ROM implies in the root process. Rooting consequently brings the loss of access to some features like new official updates of Android One via OTA.
