A few days back it was reported that some units of OnePlus 7 Pro were having a “ghost touch” problem on the screen and that the company was already aware of the bug and working on an update.
Here’s a new version of OxygenOS just released for the OnePlus 7 Pro owners, bringing improvements to the Double Tap to Wake, Ambient Display, Display Environment, and cameras. In addition to the above improvements, the update also offers to fix for a problem in audio lag when using Bluetooth headsets to play.
Unfortunately, the newly released update still does not fix the ghost touch problem. But as mentioned earlier, the issue is very well known to the company and they are working on it.
In the camera part, fixes were applied for HDR, image quality, performance in low-light scenarios, and fixed focus instability.
The update is rolling out via OTA and it weighs 178 MB. If it does not appear on your OnePlus 7 Pro, you can also download and install it manually through the company’s official website.
It is important to remember that before starting the upgrade process, we recommend that you have at least 50% charge or your smartphone plugged in to avoid shutdowns during installation.
Just a couple of days back, OxygenOS 9.5.4/9.5.5 update was released for the OnePlus 7 Pro which came with general bug fixes, optimization for Ambient Display, etc.
