Redmi 7A Launching on May 28 With 13MP Camera and 4000 mAh Battery

After appearing on TENAA, the Chinese certification body in telecommunications, the Redmi 7A finally gets the launch date. The company on its official Weibo account shared the poster of the Redmi 7A revealing May 28 as the launch date and other features.

It’s the successor to Redmi 6A which was launched in June 2018 along with Redmi 6 under the Redmi series. The phone will arrive as a budget device and will have a 4000 mAh battery, 13MP camera single rear camera and a 5.45-inch IPS LCD display, which has an aspect ratio of 18:9.

The handset comes with splash-resistant P2i nano-coating and has a polycarbonate chassis. Xiaomi has used Eye Protection Mode which does not put pressure on our eyes while looking at the display.

The phone has 1.95GHz Snapdragon 439 Octa Core Processor. However, the did not disclose the RAM and storage options of the Redmi 7A. This smartphone has a dedicated slot for the MicroSD card.

The device runs on Android 9.0 Pie out of the box with MIUI 10 skin on top. The Redmi 7A has a 5-megapixel front camera for selfie and offers connectivity features like Dual-SIM, 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 4.2, GPS, etc.
