When Redmi announced the new K20 and K20 Pro, it started speculating that the company no longer needed to launch a Pocophone F2. This is because the K20 duo offers great specifications and a decent price, something that is associated with the Pocophone F1.
Now, new rumors have pointed out that the successor to Poco F1 will not be a single device, but there will be two models and will be launched outside China. It’s worth noting that the Redmi K20 and K20 Pro was launched on May 28 in China with no information to hit the overseas market.
The company only intends to rename the K20 and K20 Pro to Poco F2 and F2 Pro in India. In addition, the same should happen in other markets such as Russia and Poland.
Now talking about the specification, we’re not expecting any changes in the internal especially the Poco F2 Pro. The Redmi K20 Pro is a flagship device and packs the Snapdragon 855 SoC which is found in other competing high-end smartphones launched in 2019.
So, the Poco F2 Pro will also be the top of the line device and therefore we cannot expect anything besides the Snapdragon 855 processor.
As far as the pricing is concerned, based on the Redmi K20 and K2o Pro we can say that the Poco F2 and F2 Pro might also arrive with a mid-range and premium mid-range price tags in India.
However, before we reach any conclusion we must wait for some time as the might reveal soon. So stay tuned.
