Xiaomi India has launched a new budget phone, the Redmi Note 7S. The device is a mix of Redmi Note 7 and Note 7 Pro. However, some reviewers are saying it’s rebranded version of the Redmi Note 7. A few days back, we saw the Xiaomi India head Manu Kumar Jain holding the handset in Red color variant.
As we know, the competition is very tough in the budget and mid-range segment, therefore, smartphone companies trying to fuel their devices with impressive specs. Despite being a budget phone, the Redmi Note 7S has some of the highlights such as a 48MP camera, 4000 mAh battery, etc.
Redmi Note 7S Specifications, Features
The Redmi Note 7S specifications are similar to Redmi Note 7. It’s a dual-SIM device which features a 6.3-inch full HD+ display and runs on Android 9.0 Pie with MIUI 10. Corning Gorilla Glass 5 protection is provided on the front and back of the smartphone with P2i splash-resistant coating.
An octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 660 processor drives the handset paired with 4GB of RAM. In the case of storage, Redmi Note 7S comes in 32GB and 64GB internal storage options. It also supports expansion via microSD card up to 256GB.
There is a dual camera setup at the rear with 48MP+5MP sensors. The front of the phone has a 13MP selfie sensor with AI Portrait Mode and AI Face Unlock. The phone packs a 4000mAh battery with Quick Charge 4 Fast charging support.
Redmi Noye 7S Pricing and Availability
The Redmi Note 7S price in India starts at Rs. 10,999 for the 3GB RAM + 32GB storage variant. The 4GB RAM + 64GB storage variant comes at Rs. 12,999. The phone will go on sale starting on May 23 in Onyx Black, Ruby Red, and Sapphire Blue color options.
The Redmi Note 7S will be available at Flipkart, Mi online store, and Mi Home stores.
