Galaxy M40

Samsung has already launched three smartphones under the Galaxy M-series in India and now it’s looking to further expand the series by launching the Galaxy M40 smartphone. The company releases a teaser video confirming the June 11 as the launch date in India. The Galaxy M40 will come with Infinity-O display and Snapdragon 6 series.

Samsung has launched Galaxy M10, M20 and M30 in India and the M40 will be the top of the line device in the series. Right now, the Galaxy M30 is the top of the line device with a mid-range price tag of Rs. 17,990.

The Galaxy M40 will also be the first under the M-series to feature an Infinity-O (punch-hole) display as seen in the Galaxy A60 and Galaxy S10 series. The hole will sit on the top left corner of the display.

The rear panel has a Samsung branding, fingerprint sensor, and triple camera sensor with LED flash. Right now, the company has not revealed much of the technical specs, but rumors are surfacing that the Galaxy M40 smartphone might come with 6GB RAM and 128GB internal storage with Snapdragon 675 processor.

The phone will be running on Android 9.0 Pie out of the box with Samsung’s latest OneUI interface. The M40 could pack a 5000 mAh battery.

But since none of the specs are officially confirmed, we’ve to wait for the official launch.
