Redmi 7A on Tenaa

Redmi 7A will be the next budget smartphone from Redmi, the new Xiaomi sub-brand. After the first images, we talked about yesterday, TENAA, the Chinese certification body in telecommunications, has struck again by revealing the complete technical specifications of the Redmi 7A.

The handset has therefore obtained its certification, which suddenly and immediately brings it closer to the time of the official launch in the native land. After its debut in the Chinese market, the successor of Redmi 6A will surely reach other Asian markets, starting with the Indian.

The reason we’re expecting it to reach the Indian market is that the company get an overwhelming response for all of its devices. It remains to understand what other Redmi 7A markets will be officially brought to, but to deepen this discussion there will be time, for now, let’s focus on the technical sheet summarized in the TENAA certification.

As you can see from the images shown above, Redmi 7A, identified with the model number M1903C3EC, has a 5.45-inch display with HD+ resolution (1440 x 720 pixels) and 18:9 aspect ratio. Under the hood, there is a 1.4 GHz octa-core SoC (not identified yet). Three memory variants are planned: 2GB of RAM + 16GB of storage, 3GB + 32 GB and 4GB + 64GB.

Moving on to the camera department, clearly visible in images, Redmi 7A has a 13MP rear camera and a 5MP front camera. The battery is 3,900 mAh and the body is enclosed in dimensions of 146.3 x 70.41 x 9.55 mm and in a weight of 150 g. As for the software, the TENAA talks about Android 9 Pie with MIUI 10 out of the box. The smartphone will be available in various colors: Black, Red, Blue, Pink, White, Green, Purple, and Gray.
