Xiaomi has just announced through its official forum the list of smartphones that will be eligible to receive the MIUI 11. It is the next major version of its interface and is due to be launched later this June and will be based on Android Q, the successor to Android 9 Pie.
In March this year, we shared the list of MIUI 11 compatible devices from Xiaomi and Redmi. But let’s talk about the latest news.
The information was shared by the product manager of the brand, and include at least 13 smartphone models. Some of these devices will receive the system as early as 2019, however, others will have to wait for next year.
Interestingly, the Pocophone F1 was left out of the list (but possibly it will also receive the update, only remains, at the moment without prediction of when it will occur).
Among the devices listed it is possible to note the presence of some models of the Redmi line, such as the K20 and K20 Pro, as well as Redmi Note 7. The newly announced Xiaomi Mi 9T which is the European variant of the Redmi K20 is not listed, possibly because it had not yet been announced when the list was prepared.
Taking into account that it is basically the global version of the Redmi K20 (which is included in the list), it is only a matter of time until the premium mid-range is added to the listing. Check out the list:
