After the Huawei P20 and P20 Pro received the Android 9.0 Pie in December last year, now we finally see the most basic model, the P20 Lite receiving the update to the latest version of the Android operating system. In addition, the handset is also getting the new EMUI 9.1 interface, which by the way has not yet released for its more expensive siblings.
A few hours ago, Huawei released the list of smartphones that would receive the new EMUI 9.1 interface, and there was the P20 Lite. Now the update is delivered in several markets around the world, such as Italy.
The update weighs approximately 3.32 GB and can be identified by software version ANE-LX1 126.96.36.199 (C432E5R1P7).
The Android Pie update with EMUI 9.1 is rolling out over the air and it should gradually be made available to all compatible and eligible smartphones over the next few days. Those who want to try to drill through the queue can search for the update through the operating system’s settings menu.
The Huawei P20 Lite has a 5.84-inch full-HD+display, Huawei HiSilicon Kirin 659 SoC with Mali-T830 MP2 GPU and houses a dual camera setup at the rear.
